Today, the GeeGees Women’s Lacrosse team recognizes National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and #OrangeShirtDay. We wear orange to honour the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools and their families and communities. Today is a day to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility. Tough results yesterday, but we keep moving forward. Put up a good fight but fell 13-4 to U of T and to Ontario Tech. May not be the results we wanted, but plenty to learn from and build on. Back to work and ready for what’s next. #GeeGees GoGeeGees GeeGeesLacrosse WomensLacrosse by @geegeeswlax

On Wednesday evening, we had the honour of participating in our fourth annual Women’s Training Camp with the Ottawa Redblacks! This event gives us the opportunity to step outside our usual sport, take the field alongside Redblacks players, learn new skills and challenge ourselves. More than just a night of football, the Women’s Training Camp is about building confidence, strengthening connections, and celebrating the power of women in sport. It’s always a great reminder of the teamwork, resilience and sense of belonging that sport can create. A huge thank you to @cflredblacks for welcoming us back for another incredible year. We’re grateful to continue being part of an event that brings women together through sport and creates memories that last well beyond the field! ❤️🖤 #redblacks #trainingcamp #geegees #womeninsport #wlax by @geegeeswlax
