To the girl I was before sobriety…

I wish I could tell you that you don’t have to hate yourself enough to change your life.

You don’t have to hit some dramatic rock bottom.

You don’t have to explain your choice to everyone.

You don’t have to know exactly what your life will look like on the other side.

You just have to be willing to choose yourself.

One day at a time.

You are allowed to outgrow the version of yourself that once helped you survive.

You are allowed to want something different.

And you are allowed to become someone you haven’t met yet.

I wish you knew how proud you’d be of yourself one day. 🤍

October feels like a good time to stop waiting for the “perfect” moment.

You don’t need a new year.
You don’t need Monday.
You don’t need to have the whole plan figured out.

You just need to decide that you’re done making excuses for the things you actually want. 👀

So whatever it is .. getting your health back, building something of your own, changing your habits, making more money, creating more freedom…

start now. Start messy. Start tired. Start scared. Just fucking start.

Future you will be glad you did. 🌿

POV: you stop drinking and suddenly realize you have approximately 47 hours of free time every weekend. 😂

So what do I do instead?

I make something delicious.
I go to the gym.
I get outside.
I make my cacao.
I work on my business.
I cook.
I romanticize my morning.
I go to bed ridiculously early sometimes. 😂

And honestly?

I didn’t realize how much of my life was being spent recovering from the night before.

Now I’m actually living the days I used to lose.

That’s the part of sobriety I didn’t expect to love so much.

It’s not just about what I stopped doing.

It’s about everything I started doing instead. 🌿

Nobody really prepared me for the fact that getting sober wasn’t just about putting the drink down.

It was about figuring out what came after.

The emotions.
The boredom.
The friendships that changed.
The parts of myself I had been avoiding.
The random Tuesday nights where I suddenly had to figure out what to do with myself. 😂

But also…

The mornings I don’t regret.
The promises I actually keep to myself.
The confidence that comes from knowing I can trust myself again.

Sobriety isn’t always pretty.

But damn… I’m grateful I chose it.
(9 months TODAY 🥹)

And I’m still learning something new about myself every day. 🌿

I feel like I owe you a little reintroduction. 🤍

Because while some of you have been here through different chapters, the woman showing up here today is not the same woman who started this journey.

I spent a long time trying to convince myself that I could keep doing everything the same way and somehow feel different.

Spoiler alert : I couldn’t 😂

Choosing sobriety was one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made.

And no, it wasn’t some magical moment where suddenly everything became perfect.

If anything, sobriety made me face the things I had been avoiding.

The emotions.
The uncomfortable conversations.
The parts of myself I didn’t really want to look at.
The question of who the fuck am I without all of that?

And slowly… I started finding out.

I started taking better care of myself.
My body.
My mind.
My relationships.
My future.

I came back to my wellness journey with a completely different mindset. I reopened my Juice Plus business. I started dreaming bigger again. I started creating. I started believing that maybe I could actually build the kind of life I’d always imagined for myself.

And I’m still figuring it out.

I still have hard days.
I still get uncomfortable.
I still have a LOT of growing to do.

But I’m here for all of it now.

And I think that’s the biggest difference.

So this page is going to continue being a messy little mix of wellness, business, nature, movement, products I genuinely love, random thoughts, and probably way too much oversharing. 😂

But I’m also going to talk more about sobriety.

Because it’s not just something I did.

It’s part of the woman I’m becoming.

I’m not here to convince you that you “need” another supplement.

Honestly… I’m tired of that messaging too. 😂
