Here’s a ⏪ rewind of my 2023!

Happy 2024! 🍾 May you leave your sh*t behind you, embrace the present and welcome what the future holds. 🥂

2023 was eventful for what it seems, everybody.
The first part of the year, I was in a toxic relationship. I was also dealing with hormonal imbalances. That left me overweight and with a bunch of health concerns… on top of that, I had issues finding a job…

By summer, I had moved back to Alberta and found a tribe of women at @wild.west.ranch.alberta who I absolutely love. Shortly after, the love of my life, my heart (Samia), abruptly passed. A week later, my ex left me by text and went to have sex with his coworker (if that wasn’t already happening while they were at work)…

I fell deep into the ranch work… I developed a crazy bond with a sassy Fjord named Laska. But I forgot to do the inner work and process all of my emotions. That eventually came back to bite me seriously hard a few months later… I took time away from the ranch and tried to focus on my wellbeing. Can’t stay away long before I miss this place…

The first snow comes. Unaware that the roads were frozen, I hit black ice and did a scary swerving and 360° and ended up in the ditch, just a few meters from my destination. I got really scared… I never had an accident in my life and it took this little to throw me off the road… I felt very unsafe all of a sudden.

Then, I finally meet a guy that sweeps me off my feet and checks all of my boxes. He lives in BC, so I end up driving to spend some time with him and explore our blooming relationship. On my way back home, I hit black ice again and this time, my Jeep is a write off. I haven’t really driven since (except his truck for about 1hour) and I cried… I am seriously nervous now.

Armed with a new, used SUV, in the process of creating my own job and more, 2024 can only be (at least i hope!) a positive one. 2023 cleansed me from the past. Everything starts fresh for 2024. It can’t be a coincidence, right?

Have you ever suffered from crippling anxiety?

It’s never easy to deal with this.
What worked for me is a good self-care routine. I make sure to balance the yin and yang energies as well. Meaning, some days, i practice a still and quiet meditation with my crystals, and the next day, it can be a spin class session with rave music shaking the building. In both cases, I let the energies flow through, making room for calm and clarity.

Let’s not forget that what self-care looks like changes like the seasons. ☀️❄️🍂 🌷

So give yourself some grace and always plan a non-negotiable time for some TLC in your busy schedule.
Everything else can wait.

Think about it: what is worth more? Your well-being? Or whatever you’re choosing over yourself? ….

YOU COME FIRST, BABY!

What do you want to get better at?

Need more confidence? Most of us will struggle with confidence… and where to find it.

I don’t really like the « fake it till you make it »
You can’t fake being a pro.
But with PRACTICE until you make it, you can become a pro.

From wabbles on a long board to full blown going up and down hills and turning, all it took was about 1h of getting back up every time and trying to do better next time… and making it fun because a positive attitude helps!

So go and practice! NOW!!!
