🌱 a series of garden friends 🍄 from my sketchbook!

lately when I'm on the go & out in the world with my sketchbook, I only take a few select drawing materials with me.. I find having a limited and random color palette pushes me to make something more unexpected! had some fun making this while chilling by the pool with @elizaduudles earlier in July ❤️ these colors feel so summery to me 🌼 by @genceceart

🧡 art I've made + frames I've painted! 🧡

I've been wanting to make a video of these for a while - it's so much fun to create a drawing and figure out the puzzle of painting a frame to perfectly complement it. I'm just a girl with posca markers and a dream 💕 I'm excited to do more one-of-a-kind pieces like this.

1. Do Your Best!
2. Magic Apple!
3. Goodnight Wish
4. Let's Bloom Together

I'm so happy to have my art up right now at my favorite local place, Incontro Caffe! These works are a mix of art from a few years ago + art from this past year. It has been lovely to see them have new life in such a great community space & be shared along the work of other local artists!

Thank you to @walterore_ for curating and @incontrocaffe for taking the time to showcase local art!

And thank you to all the friends new & familiar who have stopped by so far and shown love and support 🦋

The show will be up through May as well, so be sure to stop by, grab a coffee & check it out before it ends 🌻 by @genceceart
