Open Mat crew

Busted out the old cannon 🎥 to catch some shots of the crew throwing down at open mat! Just because I cant train doesn’t mean I wont show up.

Sensational. A true team effort combining some incredible individual performances. I've always aimed to make Genesis a welcoming gym to the most timid, under athletic, martially curious people. If you have the courage to step onto our mats you'll be encouraged and supported no matter your starting point. At the same time the quality and intensity of training remains high. We've never watered down the art to make it more accessible. We've never placed value on competitors over hobbyist. We've never depended on recruiting athletes. We've maintained a balance rarely achieved. Be proud of this one fam. We all played a part. Azle, Burleson, and HQ.

Special shout out to Coach Eric Lincoln @mexirachie for this one. The work he puts in with the squad every Sunday deserves recognition. Without that class and group of absolute dogs our team wouldn't enjoy these levels of competition success.
