Swan Song 🦢🎵 • While my career was far from significant, felt I should still make it known I am officially retiring as an active fighter. Hit me in the middle of the last camp that Fury 124 was to be my final fight. • Hindsight is 20/20, as they say, and I definitely made some significant mistakes that ultimately hindered my progress. And yet, starting at nearly 30 years old with zero training in any MMA discipline prior, I am happy with the skills I was able to develop. Just ran out of time with the rest of life calling. • To everyone that supported and stayed along for the ride, I thank you greatly. Met some incredible people along the way, and for that I am grateful. • Cheers to all that was learned, and cheers to what is to come. If you made it this far with me, thank you 🙏💙.

🥋 TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: Pendulum Sweep Ever feel like you’re stuck on your back in closed guard and can’t get anything going? 👀 That’s where the pendulum sweep comes in. This week at Genesis Jiu-Jitsu Burleson, we’re breaking down how to use your angle, momentum, and leverage to take your opponent from the top position straight to their back — putting YOU on top. 💥 The best part? Watch the breakdown, then come try it on the mats. 🤙 Looking for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Burleson, TX?
