What a blast at #PolaconPDX this past weekend! Loved meeting new polapals and catching up w/others! Thanks to @achengphotos for letting me play with his SX70 prototype for several of these double exposures and @paisley.jpeg for the last shot of me. by @genex

Had a blast on my short visit to #Iceland after a work event in Switzerland. Got to get up on Mýrdalsjökull which sits atop Katla and check out some ice caves on the glacier and since the visit was so short, more time in Reykjavik. Was fun shooting 35mm and #Polaroid film by @genex

Finally made it out to @pola.con NYC and had a blast! Here's some of my favorite #Polaroids from the weekend! Thanks to the #PolaconNYC crew for everything as well as the @Polaroid team including @harrietbrowse who took the Reclaimed Purple shot of me 💜 and @jasonscottrussell & @shetromp for letting us experiment w/the Go which I'm happily going home with. Will definitely be back again and am looking forward to the just-announced Polacon PDX in Portland next for me! by @genex

Another @pola.con Bay Area and another amazing weekend with polapals! Always great see old friends and make new ones! Lots of double exposures and Macro 5 eyeball shots too. Gave away and shot a lot of #Spectra this year & the party @111minnagallery with @sunshine_jones_ was amazing and reminded me of the Qoöl days! #polaroid #staybrokeshootfilm #polaconbayarea by @genex

Oops forgot to post these last year but a couple of the last #Polaroids from 2025. My last double exposure was at the @sfinstantphotowalk of @vyletfemme at @muriostrophyroom and the other shot was at a holiday house party where @tduringer and I were chilling in the basement lounge before the group shot of the last stragglers (which I gave away to the wonderful hosts!). Here’s to another great year of instant film, pinball & travel! #doubleexposure #filmisnotdead by @genex

Thank you so much @genex for your fantastic polaroid photos from San Francisco!! Thanks also to @jenbroideroid #globalpolaroidexchange #polaroidexchange #sanfrancisco #polaroid #photoexchange #globalpolaroidexchange by @genex

@BurningMan photo dump! All I shot was film so these are either @Polaroid shots on the I-2 or 35mm on my #Olympus OM 2S-P. The #BlackandWhite shots are on expired film from like 2009 and the color shots are just on Portra 400. Featuring my camp mates from Salty Jacks @megsmallan @lindsaybatten and my favorite music from @redhotbev at sunrise, @kellieallenmusic at @distrikt_org and art by @gabrielsobin (Ad Astra), a double exposure of The Question with the lightning bolt neon at Point 3 at the trash fence and a double exposure of The Temple from inside and out #BurningMan #doubleexposure #filmisnotdead by @genex

No filter, no AI, NO editing 🚫.

If you see me doing gymnastics on a building in front of an even bigger building in New York City I can guarantee you that’s exactly what the fk I’m doing.

(Ok I did stop for ice cream 🍦)

I wonder how weird it was for @genex or if that’s par for the course when shooting 📸 🎥 🤸🏼‍♀️🏢

Another #filmSwap with @ginapins - this time a mix of NYC, #pinball, @theflipperroom, @scrappleland, @freegoldwatch and INDISC! #olympusOM #doubleexposure @makethisadouble by @genex

This past weekend was the Women’s North American and World Pinball Championships at @portcitypinball and I was there photographing all weekend (& played in one tournament - plus some dollar games!). The event was full of many of the best pinballers around and those skills were on full display. Here’s a few of my snaps I captured. I’m working on creating a pinball book and really wanted to include these events. Also being on hand for this women’s event I could really feel the camaraderie and supportive vibe even as so much was on the line. My favorite moment was after the 3rd/4th place match when @geese_key and @kassidy_milanowski played Jaws split flipper while going through the game explaining strategies and blowing it up. Congrats to Keri Wing on the exhilarating victory and Kaylee Campbell for her dominating play all weekend long. #pinball #ifpa by @genex

#PolaconBayArea Day 0 snaps! Started taking a few double exposures that I decided to make into a Day Zero mini series. My fave was of my friend @chloefavor taken at @sweetiesartbar. Thanks @instantfilmsociety and @sfinstantphotowalk for the great start to PolaCon! #BelieveInFilm @polaroid #doubleexposure by @genex

OK it’s a new year and I’m still obsessed with multiple exposures and film swaps. I’m in the midst of one right now that I’m excited about that might show up in @nudgemagazine - but here’s a look at one of the last ones I did in 2024 w/@fabulousrice - featuring @freegoldwatch, @irlurl, @pnut_the_great and @innout #Filmswap #filmisnotdead #OlympusOM by @genex
