This exercise is from our breathwork course and it's called the decompression hold. To do it, press your hands or elbows into your chair to decompress your pelvis. You can integrate your body by pushing through your feet to life your pelvis from your hands and feet. Hold this pelvis decompression and breathe for 30 seconds to one minute. If you'd like to learn more about our course, check out the link in our bio or drop a question in the comments. by @genuine_movement
If you're looking for an exercise to activate and mobilize your accessory breathing muscles and mobilize the neck and shoulders, try the cross crawl with rotation. To do it, alternate lifting and lowering the arms while rotating your head in the opposite direction. Meaning as you life your right arm, your head looks towards the left. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times slow to feel your joints moving. Then repeat 10-15 times a bit faster to energize you and get your blood and lymph flowing. If you'd like to see more exercises like this, check out our breathwork course in our bio. And let us know if you have any questions in the comments. by @genuine_movement
