‘How long now, till midnight?’ - Oil on canvas - 203cm x 183cm

It’s hard not to feel a million emotions wrapped up in this piece, as time plays such a central role on the state of things. Try to find happiness amongst the dispiriting rhetoric that dominates our lives. I hope this post finds you well.

Another belter I showed this one @__.shuffle a little while back now, when I still had my long hair. The title of this piece is ‘Cafè Dernier’ 120cm x 80cm oil on canvas.

Here’s another absolute beauty, untitled, this one came from a cigarette packet from the 60’s I think and it just stuck with me, there is something strange but alluring about it. 40cm x 40cm

Message me for more details.

The Cost of Living

LAUNCH - 08.12 ~ 6-8pm
EXHIBITION CLOSES - 24.12
@outputgallery

This will be my first Gallery solo show and one I’m extremely proud of, I can’t wait for the launch event tonight! And I can’t wait for people to see this exhibition. Putting on this show has really grounded my own thinking surrounding the work that I make and also how that relates to others in a wider context. At a time like this, community has become so integral to our own survival and the works seem to touch on familiar truths, experiences and feelings I believe we all share. Whether that is through colour, imagery, or an installation within a space. I wanted to challenge the sense that painting has become decorative and distanced from the everyday person, so to bring that into a new way of seeing and experiencing is fantastic. I hope anyone that sees the show will enjoy it half as much as it has been making every piece and the show itself. I want to give a huge thanks to @outputgallery for the opportunity, what a fantastic and refreshing thing it is, to have these folks around making it possible for emerging artists to have the platform to trial work and also support them through funding. Peace and love always. G
