I realized my Instagram has become almost entirely about my business, and I miss when it felt like a beautiful little scrapbook of my life.

So I’m going to try to get back to that. What I’m doing, where I am in the world, and the people and moments I want to remember.

Starting with last week with this coffee lessons for my little man, and when I made some time for myself, to learn, grow, and connect with a ton of strong and amazing women.

When I became a mom in London, I struggled with something I don’t think we talk about enough: loneliness.

Pregnancy and early parenthood can be incredibly isolating. Maybe you’re like me and far away from your support network, or maybe your closest friends just aren’t in the same stage of life. Either way, it can feel like no one around you really understands what you’re going through.

Then in London I found prenatal social clubs

People in the exact same stage of life, asking the same questions, dealing with the same uncertainty and trying to figure it all out too.

We learned together. We talked openly. We shared recommendations. We checked in on each other.

And that community made me feel so much less alone.

When I started talking to friends back in the U.S., I realized how different their experiences were.

Many had great doctors, appointments, books and endless information at their fingertips.

But they were still missing connection.

Their families might live across the country. Their closest friends might not be having kids yet. And outside of a doctor’s appointment, there often wasn’t an obvious place to meet other people going through pregnancy alongside them.

We constantly tell parents, “it takes a village.”

But no one really tells you where the hell you’re supposed to find one.

That question stayed with me.

And eventually, it became Expecting Together.

I wanted to create a place where expecting parents could find that community before their baby arrived.

A prenatal social club where couples can meet other parents in the same stage of life, learn from trusted experts, ask real questions and start building genuine relationships.

Because preparing for a baby shouldn’t just mean knowing what to expect during labor or what to put on your registry.

It should also mean having people who understand what you’re going through.

People you can text.

People you can grab coffee with.

People you don’t have to explain this season of life to because they’re living it too.

That kind of community helped me through one of the loneliest transitions of my life.

When I became a mom in London, I experienced something I didn’t know I needed: community care. I joined groups of other expecting parents and the support we shared changed everything for me.

Speaking with friends back in the U.S., I realized how different their experiences were. Many felt alone in parenthood.

That is where Expecting Together began. A prenatal social club created to help parents connect early, learn together, and feel supported from the start.

Because expecting a baby should never feel isolating.
