POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Before we were mothers, we were little girls. And somewhere within us, we still are.

At our London launch, every woman found a photograph of her younger self waiting at the table. We asked her to introduce us to that little girl. Where she came from, what she dreamed of, and how she became the woman she is today.

There was laughter, there were tears, and stories that will stay in that room.

To the little girls we still carry with us: she’d be so proud of you. 🫂

When I became a mom in London, I struggled with something I don’t think we talk about enough: loneliness.

Pregnancy and early parenthood can be incredibly isolating. Maybe you’re like me and far away from your support network, or maybe your closest friends just aren’t in the same stage of life. Either way, it can feel like no one around you really understands what you’re going through.

Then in London I found prenatal social clubs

People in the exact same stage of life, asking the same questions, dealing with the same uncertainty and trying to figure it all out too.

We learned together. We talked openly. We shared recommendations. We checked in on each other.

And that community made me feel so much less alone.

When I started talking to friends back in the U.S., I realized how different their experiences were.

Many had great doctors, appointments, books and endless information at their fingertips.

But they were still missing connection.

Their families might live across the country. Their closest friends might not be having kids yet. And outside of a doctor’s appointment, there often wasn’t an obvious place to meet other people going through pregnancy alongside them.

We constantly tell parents, “it takes a village.”

But no one really tells you where the hell you’re supposed to find one.

That question stayed with me.

And eventually, it became Expecting Together.

I wanted to create a place where expecting parents could find that community before their baby arrived.

A prenatal social club where couples can meet other parents in the same stage of life, learn from trusted experts, ask real questions and start building genuine relationships.

Because preparing for a baby shouldn’t just mean knowing what to expect during labor or what to put on your registry.

It should also mean having people who understand what you’re going through.

People you can text.

People you can grab coffee with.

People you don’t have to explain this season of life to because they’re living it too.

That kind of community helped me through one of the loneliest transitions of my life.

Expecting Together exists to help more parents find it too. 🤍

We asked expecting parents what actually helped them feel less anxious, and the answer surprised us.

Here’s to more conversations, more community, and more moments that remind parents they don’t have to do this alone. 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out for our screening of No Country for Mothers. This was a milestone moment for Expecting Together: our very first community event beyond our prenatal cohorts.

We’re so grateful to @momsfirstus for creating No Country for Mothers and sparking such an important conversation about the realities of parenthood. Seeing expecting and new parents gather to watch the film and continue the discussion afterward reminded us exactly why we’re building this community.

A special thank you to @partumhealth for leading such a thoughtful conversation and sharing your expertise with our families. And thank you to @bookpinch for partnering with us to help make the evening possible. 💛

No one heals alone.

Meet @wearesanctum — an experience where movement, music, breath, and emotional release come together in a way that feels less like a workout and more like a return to yourself.

This week in London, @arrayaadventures of @mothereuro gathered women from around the world inside Sanctum for an evening of healing, release, and community.

Yesterday, @mothereuro women experienced @neko in London.

Full body scans. Blood work. Doctor consultations. Advanced preventative care, all done in one place and in under an hour.

What Neko Health is building feels like a real shift in how people will approach healthcare moving forward: proactive, efficient, data-driven, and accessible at scale.

The level of care, hospitality, and attention from the entire Neko Health team was exceptional from start to finish.

There are currently over 350,000 people on the waitlist, with many waiting 1–2 years. People regularly fly from all over the world to Stockholm and London for scans, and NYC is officially launching this year.

DM us for the sign-up link and waitlist information.

Our founder @georgiakstar started Expecting Together after experiencing pregnancy and the birth of her daughter in London, where community-based prenatal care was the norm, not the exception. She saw firsthand how powerful it is to learn and prepare alongside other parents, and wanted to bring that same sense of connection and support home.

After experiencing the kind of support that comes from real parent groups, we knew more families here deserved that same sense of community.

Expecting Together is a different kind of prenatal experience. A more connected, supportive alternative to traditional classes, where you and your partner are not just learning what to expect, you’re building your village along the way.

Now offering small, nurse-led groups across Chicago and the suburbs.

At Expecting Together, we lead with trust. Everything we share is grounded in evidence and real clinical experience, but we don’t believe in telling parents what to do. Our role is to give you clear, reliable information so you can make the decisions that feel right for you, your body, and your family.

Every cohort, we hear the same question:
“What should I actually read?”

These are the books that keep coming up.
From moms, from partners, from families figuring it out in real time.

Saving you a little trial and error 🤍
