To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we traveled to Puerto Rico to highlight local talent, celebrate the culture, and most importantly, give back to a local school.

Chapter 2 highlights @geraldoantonio , a talented local artist we partnered with to create a lasting mural for the school and community.

Follow along as we continue to celebrate the people, culture, and community that make Puerto Rico so special.

This is only the beginning. Watch our journey.

Just a Special Ed kid getting the opportunity to do what he loves…

I could write five pages of the feeling of gratitude and what this means but I’ll try my best to keep it brief.

I’m a kid that studied all my life in public schools and while having ADHD it was never easy to have good grades but I spent my days listening while drawing. My Mum always heard the “He’s brilliant, BUT he doesn’t pay attention and he’s to hyper”. I think that’s been playing in my head cause Art has always been my outlet and I always felt I understood it for a reason… for me coincidence aren’t coincidence when they’re to consistent. To be a mural in Cataño, the same pueblo where @iconikvisiontm let me do my first mural (love you big bro), to the school looking so much like my high school where Mrs. Fernandez told me “I would amount to nothing in life”… well I think I have and this opportunity confirmed it.

@therealsuraj201 you don’t know how much this means to me, thank you for believing I could pull it off and always being 100% real with me (you’ve been family). @melody0205 @_tone_nyc @barrios.pr thank you for the energy and the affirmation. @dwarf.media gracias por la ayuda el dia que de pintar, tuvimos que hablar con tantos niños y niñas pero espero que impulsamos a pales de ellos a querer crear arte algun dia.

@quieneschico my brother from another mother… THANK YOU PAPO!! Thank you for capturing this moment. Love you brodi FOREVER!

At the end of the day… I think my purpose in life is to create art to start conversations, to make people be seen and most importantly tell a story.

¡Ningún hermano se deja solo!

Surprise, surprise… we’ll be pulling up for @yesterdaystranger’s pop-up at @local.dosdosdos.

I’ll be painting live while we present an interactive body of work.

There’s a story to be told… and like we always say: we were yesterday’s strangers, but today’s friends.

Come drink some beer, tag a canvas, and cop a hat.
