To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we traveled to Puerto Rico to highlight local talent, celebrate the culture, and most importantly, give back to a local school. Chapter 3 highlights our community give back at Escuela Rafael Cordero in Cataño, Puerto Rico. We created a special day for the students filled with rides, a DJ, paletas, and book bags for everyone. But we wanted to do more than just provide a fun day. We also donated over 10,000 bottles of water for the school year and a brand new commercial refrigerator to help address some of the school’s everyday needs. Our commitment doesn’t end here. We will be returning to work with Escuela Rafael Cordero again following the release of our Puerto Rico 2.0 project. This is what Purposeful Projects is all about. Building relationships, identifying real needs, and creating a lasting impact in the communities we serve. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re continuing our commitment to giving back to Puerto Rico! Next week, we’ll be back on the island highlighting a local business, collaborating with a local artist, and adopting another school to host a special community day for the kids and their families. We’ll also be checking in on the progress of the roof we’re building for one of the schools we previously adopted. For us, it’s about more than just one event. It’s about building lasting relationships, supporting local talent, and making a meaningful impact in the communities we love.
