Brain teaser for three-dimensional thinking (the old-fashioned way): carving clouds out of wax.
Once cast in metal, I will engrave the cloud rings to further accentuate their form and add a sense of movement, lightness and sparkle.

Small Blue-and-White Kitchen Necklace, 2024

This little beauty has recently found a new home in the collection of the National Museum of Norway in Oslo.
It is made from a relatively small collector’s plate by the Société Céramique Maastricht (NL), featuring a sentimental decorative motif. For this piece, I chose to drill out the ‘pearls’ from the Baroque rim, giving the necklace an abundant and curly expression.
I am very grateful to @GaleriePontEnPlas for their mediation and to Knut Astrup Bull, curator at the @NasjonalMuseet, for the acquisition!

The ever-shifting formations of clouds are a recurring source of inspiration for me, informed both by meteorological observations and by the copper engravings of old masters. Much like the Romantic landscape painters, I allow impressions to flow directly into my hands, trying to catch lines and sentiments into material form.

High Wave Necklace, 2026

Water is the origin of life.
Water flows. It transforms. It finds its own way. Its form is elusive—never fixed, always becoming. Like a necklace, it traces form without fixing it—always shifting, always alive.
My pieces gives shape to this transformation, making water tangible on the body.
