Entrepreneurship has a funny way of changing what you consider a “win.” Sometimes the win isn’t a massive deal, a huge check, or some viral moment. This is what the wrestling community is all about. 🤼‍♂️🔥 We were at the Columbus Day Duals helping coach the Dark Horse K-6 team when one of the young wrestlers came up to us, showed us he was following CFLWR, and asked if we had any C Wipes. We didn’t have a booth at this tournament… but we pretty much ALWAYS have C Wipes on us. 😂 So of course we had to hook him up. Then we found out he’s already an entrepreneur himself. He runs his own wrestling shoe business called Always Better Everyday — and that name says everything. Always. Better. Everyday. That’s wrestling. That’s business. That’s life. WHO’S GOT THE MOST IN THE TANK?! 💪😂 We put the CFLWR crew to the test at the Columbus Day Duals with a simple challenge: Most push-ups in ONE MINUTE wins. But there was a problem… Josh Latham is an absolute machine. This kid holds multiple push-up and strength records and has even knocked out 1,000 push-ups before. 🤯 So could Bear the Wrestler or Little Sal Triolo take him down? We put a bag of C Wipes on the line and let them battle it out. 🔥 @joshlathamfit — 102 🔥 @sjtriolo — 57 🔥 @bearthewrestler_ — 46 102 PUSH-UPS IN 60 SECONDS IS INSANE. 😂💪 But this is also what these wrestling weekends are all about. Yes, we’re there to compete. Yes, we’re there to get better. But you also have to enjoy the ride, have some fun, challenge each other, and make memories with the people in this community. Getting Bear, Josh, and Sal together and watching these three go at it was awesome. Three CFLWR athletes. One brutal weekend. One message. 🤼‍♂️ @bearthewrestler_ , @sjtriolo , and @joshlathamfit all stepped on the mat at the Columbus Day Duels this past weekend — and it wasn’t easy. Some went undefeated, some had a harder time. But that’s wrestling. You’re going to have tough matches. Tough weekends. Days where nothing seems to go your way. Bear said it best: if you want to become a better wrestler, stay consistent. Keep showing up. Keep practicing. Keep putting in the work. You don’t become great overnight.
