#11003 Counterpart Across the Universe (2026) (Canada)

Fresh haze from the lords at Counterpart, this 6.5% gem rocks Nectaron, Rakau and Simcoe. It pours murky with a foamy head and a citrusy nose, it’s juicy and pithy with mango, stone fruit and ruby red grapefruit vibes, it’s punchy and bold with some light, piney bitterness, it’s super tropical with passion fruit and pineapple notes, it’s still kinda green with some hop burn, wrapping in a tropical, citrusy, grassy finish. Fantastic.

#11001 WILLS Tropicalia (Canada)

Shout out the legends at WILLS, who have been knocking out killer haze from time. This is a 6.5% murk bomb with Citra, Nectaron and Superdelic, it pours murky with a foamy head and a tropical nose, it’s creamy and chalky with tons of mango, pithy grapefruit and stone fruit vibes, it’s juicy and punchy, sticky and intense, there’s some pineapple and passionfruit notes, it’s got a hint of bitterness, wrapping in a dry, tropical finish. Delightful.

#10998 Other Half Oh…toberfest (USA)  Another banger from the @Untappd Oktoberfest box, this is a Märzen from the NY lords at Other Half. Coming in at 5.4%, it rocks Tettnanger hops and pours a cloudy, amber-brown with a foamy, beige head and a roasty, caramel nose, it’s creamy, toasty and malty with a big, punchy herbal, hop vibe, it’s bitter and grainy with floral and spicy, grassy notes, it’s clean and rich with a dusty, toffee malt finish. Absolutely killer.

#10996 L’Espace Public x BAOS Podcast Bière de Vacances (2026) (Canada)

Bière de Vacances is BACK, BABY! The 2026 version of our OG lactose creamsicle sour collab is spectacular - I’m so happy that this beer is still around, even with there’s no lactose in this batch (but there’s still vanilla). Coming in at 4.5%, it rocks marmalade and vanilla and pours a hazy orange with a foamy head and a sticky, marmalade nose, it’s balanced and slightly sweet with tons of pithy, juicy orange vibes, it’s punchy and tart, tangy and so crushable, it’s less sweet than usual from to the lack of lactose (due to lactose production being pushed to protein powder - wtf), it’s a bloody beauty, wrapping in a dry, marmalade vanilla finish. Perfection.

#10995 L’Espace Public x Turbo Haus Turbo Soif (Canada)

Tonight I’m hanging with Uncle @same0ne of L’Espace and we’re getting into their fresh collab with MTL live music venue Turbo Haus, and its a slapper of an Italian Pilsner. Coming in at 5%, it pours with some dry hop haze, a huge fluffy head and a bready, hoppy nose, it’s crisp and smooth with a bitter, grassy punch up front, there’s sticky malt vibes and some herbal, floral, earthy notes, it’s crushable and clean, grainy af, wrapping in a dry, cereal-forward finish. Delightful.

#10993 Oakflower Oaktoberfest (USA)

The next brew from the @Untappd Oktoberfest box is this absolute gem from New Jersey, my first from Oakflower. This beer has some insane Untappd awards, and I can see why. Coming in at 5.6%, it’s a Märzen that pours amber with a foamy head and a caramel malt nose, it’s crisp and sticky with tons of bread crust, baking spices and toffee notes, it’s biscuity and chewy, hella smooth and silky, wrapping in a dry, toasty, spicy finish. Immaculate.

#10992 Fonta Flora Despite All Odds (USA)  Another big beer moment for me - this is the first time I’ve had a Flora beer in my mouth. Shouts to @shaneipa! Coming in at 5.6%, this is a Festbier brewed with local chestnut wood, and it goes hard af. It pours clear and golden with a foamy head and a malty, oaky nose, it’s crisp and smooth with a nice spiced, woody punch, it’s sticky and grainy with some bread crust and nutty vibes, it’s crushable and warming, wrapping in a dusty, biscuity, spicy finish. Glorious, hella unique.

#10991 Zillicoah Mittelfrüh (USA)  Back home and getting into some Sunday Funday beers. The homie @shaneipa grabbed me some Zillicoah last weekend, and mate, they are absolutely exceptional. This is their highly-awarded single hop German Pilsner with all Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, it’s 4.7% and pours clear with a huge fluffy head and a bready, candied citrus nose, it’s so crisp and clean with a beautiful grainy base, it’s peppery and zesty with herbal and grassy notes, it’s got a great piney bitterness, wrapping in a dry, biscuity finish. Incredible.

Haze time, and this is a gem from August with Riwaka, Citra and Amarillo Cryo. Coming in at 6.5%, it pours murky with a fluffy head and a tropical nose, it’s creamy and juicy with a light piney bitterness alongside citrus pith and mango vibes, there’s pineapple and mango, there’s grapefruit and stone fruit notes, wrapping in a dry, tropical finish. Banger.

#10989 Counterpart Winds of Change (2026) (Canada)

Out here at Counterpart for Nate’s first time! This is their annual Fall crispy, and this year it’s a Schwarzbier. Coming in at 4.5%, it pours a deep brown with a foamy head and a roasty nose, it’s crisp and chocolatey with a nice bitter espresso note up front, it’s sweet and malty with a great balance, it’s light yet punchy, clean and bready, wrapping in a cold brew, mocha finish. Fantastic.

#10988 Freak Folk Bier x Off Script ZINGAYA! (USA)

Wrapping up the evening with a massive beer for me - my first ever brew from Freak Folk thank to @shaneipa! Not only is this a Freak Folk beer, it’s a collab with Colorado’s Off Script with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Riwaka, Citra Quantum, and Riwaka Amplifier, at 8.4%. It pours white and milky with a fluffy head and a tropical nose, it’s creamy and chalky and immediately I get the hype about FF, it’s punchy and massive and insanely hop saturated, it’s so thick and smooth, pithy and a touch piney, sweet and balanced, intense and glorious with a dry, tropical finish. Perfection. So amped for more.

Coming in at 6.6%, it pours cloudy with a foamy head and a sticky, piney nose, there’s tons of white grape and mango up front alongside a bready, malty body, it’s got some pithy, piney bitterness, it’s juicy and sticky, punchy and bold, citrusy with some stone fruit notes, wrapping in a dry, piney, grassy, biscuity finish. Banger.
