To have a friend in God means to turn to Him for any and everything, knowing that he supports us in our moments of joy and sorrow. His friendship opens our hearts to receive what He has to share; humbling us, uplifting us, and giving us rest where we need it most. You don’t have to wait until you need something to seek Him out.

If you had a friend that knew absolutely every detail about you, would you still try to hide something from them?

Are you trying to hide something from God?

God sees you for who you are, he sees your heart, your mind, he knows what you struggle with, and this is actually a good thing! This is encouraging honesty, trust, and repentance! A crucial stepping stone in building a connection with Jesus Christ. Repentance means to turn away from your sin, and turn towards God.

Reflect today if there is something in your life you haven’t turned away from yet. It could be pride, hate, unforgiveness, greed, lying, sexual immorality, addiction, idolatry, etc. and ask God to help you through it. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. by @gia.ah

The hikes we went on were probably the hardest and rewarding ones we’ve been on. The Frary Peak hike on Antelope Island was like a movie 🎥 Then we had to climb down as we quickly lost sunlight haha.

We scrambled our way to two caves and rock climbed through slot canyons while avoiding possible mountain lions. All while car camping.

Grateful to be on these adventures! And can’t way to explore more.

Many people in my generation are struggling with their identity right now, thinking they have to become something other than who God created them to be. Remember, the creator of this world didn’t create us to be confused about who we are. It’s the enemy that wants us lost and far from the truth. #pickupabible by @gia.ah

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” -Matthew 11:29

One of the first verses that really stuck with me was Proverbs 3:5-6. A reminder to continue to lean on God and put Him first above everything else. One of the best things you can do is realize that you can’t figure life out all on your own, you need God, you need a savior. Depend on HIM and he will lead you to peace. #jesuslovesyou
