I am sharing a new visual instrument I have been developing—tested in the heat of live performance and built for the new Visual Jokey artist.

Some features:
(1) Runs on browser: The engine runs entirely natively on the web, no heavy software installations.
(2) Dual Decks: Load up to two distinct Gaussian Splats simultaneously, giving you the architecture to blend and transition between two captured "realities".
(3) A Nod to VJ Culture of the 90s/00s: The core philosophy borrows from the raw, tactile energy of 90s video jockeys. However, instead of crossfading flat video footage, you are slicing, recontextualizing, and remixing spatial memory.
(4) Tactile Control: It speaks directly with your hardware. Plug in a MIDI controller, like a Pioneer DDJ-400, to physically sculpt and manipulate your splats in real-time.

Le-bac-tan x Wasawat x Đỗ Trọng Quý bring a live A/V set to TDBKK Vol.2

Le-bac-tan (Nguyen Hoang Giang), also known as @giang.it , currently resides and operates from Ho Chi Minh City. His artistic creations encompass multimedia, with a particular emphasis on exploring the social and cultural implications of emerging technologies. Giang’s works have gained international recognition, being featured in exhibitions, galleries, and museums worldwide, including Museo del ‘900 (Italy), Asian Culture Complex (South Korea), Galerie Nord/Kunstverein Tiergarten (Germany), ViaFarini (Italy), MartinGoya Business (China), Galerie Quynh (Vietnam), and Nha San Collective (Vietnam).

Wasawat (+Somno) @giang_ws (1994, Thailand) is an audiovisual performer and event organizer. Also performing as WrappedByte in live-coding contexts, his sets operate as open systems, blending environment, code, and sound in real time while folding the audience into the logic of the work itself.

He has co-organizes events supporting experimental electronic music and tech-art communities in Thailand and the region through @corneacochlearclub , @stack_xyz , and TDBKK.

Đỗ Trọng Quý (Q) @quytrongdo (b. 1994, Hanoi) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Hanoi. He graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 2020, having begun his career as a painter during his undergraduate studies. In 2022, Quý held his first solo exhibition One Endless Summer at Mo Art Space and was named a Promising Artist in the Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest list.

Currently, he maintains his individual practice and frequently performs spontaneously at various independent spaces in Hanoi.

CARTOGRAPHY OF THE METAVERSE
Giang Nguyen Hoang
The work translates insights from research interviews into speculative maps and cartographic artifacts, tracing connections between ancient mythologies and contemporary spatial systems. It frames the metaverse as both an extension of human spatial
occupation and a parallel world suspended between utopian and dystopian visions. Moving beyond conventional geography, the project suggests that the metaverse enters psychological and metaphysical realms, where inner states, collective consciousness,
and speculative realities become new landscapes to be mapped and interpreted.
