For The Estate of Myour Gape in Venice, the space's soundscape was created by recording the ambient sounds present in the space at night, when the wake was closed to the public. All frequencies were then amplified to reveal the intricacy of what we tend to call silence, bringing forward the layers of sound that are typically considered empty because unclear and unidentifiable. The resulting audio is a 180 minutes track played back through speakers installed beneath the central coffin-like table, allowing the sound to come through the fabric and resonate throughout the space.

Conception, recording and production meticulously executed by GIANG. @giangly_0
