Friday, 29/05 ― KLANG x IPER Festival 2026 “SUPER LIEUX” pres.

𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆: 𝑵𝑬𝑺𝑻
Sonificazioni dell’abitare

Inside the unique and astounding context of MAAM (@maam_museoabitato), as part of the “SUPER LIEUX” edition of IPER Festival (@iper_festivaldelleperiferie), we are shaping a fictional and speculative non-place as a sonic reflection around the theme of “dwelling”. Together with the priceless partnership of Diacronie (@diacronie_), Cortile della Luna will be temporarily transmuted into a quadraphonic and immersive architecture, where sound is the pivotal element to inhabit and feel.

Within this ephemeral sound building, in the role of both designers and dwellers, Ziúr (@ziurinhell), Cosimo Damiano (@cosimo_damiano_), and DIACRONIE Ensemble (@diacronie_, @ruggerofornari, @edd_blc, @giangly_0, @zadra_luca) will present site-specific quadraphonic performances, reflecting through the sound medium on the relationship between space and presence, between places and meanings, between people and lieus.

The playful and creative approach to musical instruments, beyond any written rule or canonic practice, has always been one of our top inspirations.
It’s around this very concept that, together with Diacronie, our 𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆: 𝑻𝑶𝒀𝑺 series was born ― chasing the crispiest attitudes and the sharpest ideas around what a sound instrument could possibly be.

From the voice of @elvinbrandhi and @giangly_0 to the percussions of @sebastienforrester and @edd_blc, from the winds of @timotheequost and @federicodangelo__ to the piano of @mayadhondtdtdt and @ruggerofornari & @cavallarohector, we had the chance to push the envelope of these “sound toys”, in service of fresher and wider visions.

No setting would have suited better than the dreamlike halls of Teatro di Documenti (@teatro.di.documenti), whose spellbinding aura made every frequency resonate like an enchantment.

Sabato 25 aprile Kina ospita EDD

Edoardo Maria Bellucci (EDD) è musicista elettronico, sound artist, performer, tecnico del suono ed educatore con base a Roma.

Fondatore e direttore artistico del progetto DIACRONIE comprendente gli annessi DIACRONIE media (label) e DIACRONIE Lab (studio), è attivo da anni nell’ambito dell’organizzazione eventi e della divulgazione culturale delle diverse forme d’arte contemporanea specificamente nel tessuto sociale e geografico di Roma.

Come musicista la sua pratica artistica spazia dalla ricerca sonora elettroacustica alle sperimentazioni odierne della cultura elettronica beat, mantenendo alto il focus sui nuovi linguaggi performativi e sull’esplorazione di sistemi e dispositivi per una nuova liuteria del suono.

Il live sarà preceduto dalle selezioni musicali di giangly

THIS SUNDAY, 12/04 ― very 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 to join our investigation, this time landing to the multifaceted spectrum of “piano”.
𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆: 𝑻 𝑶 𝒀 𝑺 is a series designed and crafted together with Diacronie, focused on discovering the crispiest approach to musical instruments, and taking place into the surreal halls of Teatro di Documenti.

Classically trained, maya dhondt is a pianist and producer also active in the performance scene. She creates intuitively fragmented music, blending genres, sounds, and languages into a postmodern cramp of bedroom glitch-pop and contemporary piano. Navigating between these worlds, she intelligently crafts sounds of alienating beauty, exploring the edges of her voice, language and twisted electronica: like a warm, but damp cave where it’s pleasant to linger just a little longer.

THIS SUNDAY, 22/03 ― the third chapter of our exploration is landing to the multiple declensions of “winds”.

Improviser, composer, trumpet player, Quost is a french musician walking along the borders of different musical practices. Starting from free improvisation, he developed a personal approach to his instrument by boosting/intensifying it through a specific amplification device. Together with his instrumental activities, he developed his own composition work. In contact with composers such as Alvin Curran, Fred Frith or Alexandros Markeas, he digs deeper into his approach, especially around the tone/timber, but also in the relationship between writing and impro, distinguishing himself from the traditional composition school

Ho fatto, forse inconsciamente, questa scelta ben prima di poter anche solo immaginare cosa significasse lavorare e mantenersi.

Ho sempre mosso la mia vita in questa direzione, fin da quando ho iniziato ad investire tutto il mio tempo nella danza, nella musica e nello studio, fin da quando a 13 anni ho salutato la mia famiglia per seguire il mio sogno, pur sapendo che “di arte non si vive in questo paese”.
Eppure, ogni giorno, anche quando é difficile e penso che ci sarebbero tante strade più sicure e più semplici, guardo indietro, ricordo tutte queste esperienze che ho vissuto e continuo a vivere, e scelgo nuovamente questa strada, perché resta l’unica vita che desidero scrivere.

Grazie a chi ne fa parte ogni giorno, vi amo tutti 🤍
