It’s later…it’s Leda? Something about three sisters, repeating generational patterns, suffocating mothers, and manipulative men.My first experience as an understudy!! Covering the fabulous and talented @sadiecorley as Anne in Plano. My first time swinging multiple roles (5) and essentially learning the entire script of @remelia.jerheart ‘s beautiful Daughters of Leda. Impactful plays like these find you at just the right time. I really needed Anne— her insecurities, her strained relationships, and the everlasting bond of her sisters that kept her going. I also needed Michele’s girl talks, the real sisterly bonds created outside of just characters, leaky StageOne ceilings, and dancing to Beyoncé. I needed those heart-wrenching Phoebe and Artemis scenes that TWISTED THE KNIFE emotionally, and having a love interest that reflected real life obstacles. Door dashing ice cream cake to StageOne and sobbing to the pre-show playlist. Beautiful, brilliant, magical, thanks for reading. by @giannatm

I know this dream of life is never ending 🌀🎢🔮…what a joy to play a dream role with a powerhouse cast and creative team!! What a joy to be a creepy, freaky, beheaded monster with the kindest soul! What a joy to perform and costume design at the same time! Feeling very lucky to have worked with my big & little, dearest friends, and performers I idolize all in one magical show. Men On Boats! 🛶💪“We’ll that’s why we’re the luckiest on Earth. To see it first.” — the easiest line to deliver every show because I really meant it. While Dunn was staring in awe and admiration at this glorious mountain he and Powell had discovered, I was thinking about how lucky I am to study theater every day and to work with a cast and crew of the most passionate, kind, and hardworking individuals. Act II: Mamma Mia 💙 the winner does, in fact, take it allSinging such powerful songs like “Slipping Through My Fingers” and “The Winner Takes It All” about growing up, moving on, empowering yourself, mother-daughter relationships, and change right before graduating high school was ROUGH! It was relieving to be able to grasp onto those heavy emotions and explore them throughout the show. Theater is therapy! Act I: Mamma Mia 🌊 “I’m dreaming, aren’t I?”The most incredible and unreal moments of my high school experience…THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the literal thousands of people who came, danced, and sang along. The wonderful cast and crew! Our lovely advisors! SUCH A FUN TIME AND A FUN SHOW! I love how ABBA music connects people from all generations because of how catchy and joyful all of the songs are.
