WELCOME TO THE TEAM: GIOVANNA GAJEWSKI

Academy: @trinitybjjaustralia
Rank: Blue Belt

▪️NSW State Champion
▪️NSWBJJF Autumn Cup Adult Absolute Champion
▪️NSWBJJF Winter Cup Adult Absolute Champion

We first met Giovanna at our events last year, when she walked away from the Summer Cup with four gold medals as a white belt double gold in Gi and double gold in No-Gi.

We were delighted to see her back competing with us this season. She started the year by taking out the Adult Absolute at the Autumn Cup, then returned at the Winter Cup and successfully defended her title.

Giovanna continues to show up, compete and support the growth of women in Jiu Jitsu. We’re excited to have her representing the NSW Federation Team and contributing to the continued growth of the sport across New South Wales, particularly for women coming through the competition circuit.

Welcome to the team, Giovanna. by @gigajewski

The next four athletes announced to the NSW Federation Team.

These are your state representatives.

Giovanna Gajewski. Josh Allsopp. Kianoa Roberts. Musa Ali.

We have chosen athletes who we believe can represent New South Wales with pride, lead by example and contribute to the continued growth of Jiu Jitsu across our state.

Each of them is already giving something back to the sport through competition, leadership, their academies and the example they set for the athletes around them.

Now we bring them together.

Different academies. Different backgrounds. One NSW Federation Team.

We have big plans for Jiu Jitsu in New South Wales, and our representatives will be a big part of where we take it next. by @gigajewski

🏆 5 ATHLETES. TOP 5.

We’re proud to have 5 Trinity BJJ athletes ranked in the Top 5 of the Adult NSW BJJF Rankings.

Consistency. Hard work. Competition. Teamwork.

This is the result of showing up every day and putting in the work. 🥋
