37!

I fully thought I was turning 38, so finding out I’m actually 37 felt like a birthday gift in itself 😂

But today, looking around, I just kept thinking how lucky I am.

Friends who have loved me forever. People who came into my life later and somehow became family. The ones who show up, call, answer, and make ordinary life feel a little more special.

And that little girl behind me… I still see so much of her in me. Just with a lot more stories, a little more wisdom, and a version of herself I think she’d be really proud of.

A lot can change in a year.

Today I just feel very loved, very grateful, and very rich in life.

Somewhere in between motherhood, responsibilities, changes, and just figuring life out… I realized how important it is to have people who remind you that you’re still YOU.

The ones you can laugh too loud with, be completely yourself with, and forget about real life for a little while.

I’m alive. I’d like to actually live. Not just make decisions I can explain to everyone else.

Some decisions are scary even when you know something needs to change. And yes, you might get it wrong. I have. But staying somewhere just because you’re scared of what comes next has a cost too.

I don’t want to look back and realize I spent my whole life trying to make it look right to people who weren’t even living it.
