A SEASONAL BANGER IS BACK !!!

Many of you don’t know the origin of this elixir. Over the years, we realized that, for very valid reasons, some people were hesitant to even step foot inside the Big Ole Plantation-looking historic home that we exist in.

So we leaned into the tension this structure carries. Banana trees were planted against its backdrop to carry the weight of the very complicated story.

Instead of ignoring the tension of this place, we created something from it and introduced “REGGAE BANANA” a crowd fav. Back for a limited time. (avbl. until the leaves fade away).

We just kinda slid back onto social like we never left.

Some of you finally found us (probably thought our account was fake). Many stayed with us through a season of silence. And our day ones? Our day ones been with us since before we even had an official sign.

IYKYK.
We don’t take that lightly. Mad love.

But real talk, after our attempt to open gilly 2.0, we needed time to regroup. We chose not to make our burnout your burden. Instead, we took the L and got back to building.

We debuted our latest addition (gillly. #NotACoffeeCart) in Fayetteville with our Sistah Concept, @woodstonebakerycafe, for Juneteenth.

Then in July, it rolled its way over to Midtown at Station 11 for Coffee and Private.

This was not intentional, it was definitely a typo. We didn’t even notice it till after the fact, then we laughed and embraced it to the max.

And so you have it. We messed around and got us a cart, so expect to find us popping up in your hood, on your block, wherever the people are and places a cart probably shouldn’t be.

Winter has a way of slowing everything down.
The soil hardens. The trees grow quiet.
But beneath the surface, something is always preparing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Spring has a way of waking everything back up.
The soil softens. The trees begin to speak again.
What once felt still is now quietly coming to life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’re not sure exactly when the shift occurred
( it never rushes in ) but it has arrived.
It simply begins again, quietly and steadily, with small seeds in the ground waiting for their time to grow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And while the world is always rushing to release something new… new this, new that (us included) it’s easy to forget that what people are really looking for isn’t just novelty.
It’s something mundane, something real.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We’ve been quiet for a bit. What started as a very intentional sabbatical… stretched a little longer than we planned. The pause was very needed though. We’re still a very small team with a very big heart, and have learned that sometimes you have to slow down to grow well.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But in the silence, something beautiful was happening. We’ve officially hit a milestone in our journey and we’re so excited to invite you into this next phase with us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before we move forward, we want to show love and respect to the incredible coffee partners who helped shape us along the way; (The OG) Octane Coffee, Firelight Coffee Roasters, and the many other talented roasters we’ve had the honor of collaborating with over the years. Thank you for pouring into us.
