my last guest left today 🥲 after 40+ days of hosting and hanging, i just want to say i love you guys. you made summer so special.

back in june i packed up all my things + left dc. this was my going away party 🫶🏽 i still haven’t quite decided what’s next… so don’t ask lol

but i knew i wanted a proper new england summer 🌞

i spent time in boston catching up with my babyyyy girl 🎀

and eating delicious meals prepared by friends, while catching up with friends 🥂 (quick plug, please visit @foxglove.terrace. it is phenomenal and @biplawrai masterfully uplifts our communities in all he does)

plot twist of a lifetime in nyc 〰️ my cousin got to play @traceeellisross’ love interest on broadway 😭 THEE most incredible night cc: @brilliantbway

my sweet girl ruby catsit for me while i was gone + thanked me for trusting her with the responsibility (she’s 10 🥹). when i got back to the island, she and her family welcomed me with a cookout. rubes made the s’mores 💕

i ate so much ice cream from @benandbillsmv, as usual. chocolate peanut butter cookie dough me down 4L.

we grilled ♨️ and learned that espresso in a dirty banana goes crazy (!)

and i clocked into the beach like it was my jobbbbb

bc my beach is better 😌

we stood in awe of the sunset countless times 🌅

sistas on the bluffs ♾️

dirty bananas + friendship bracelets ✔️

encountered a squid named fred in all his glory 🦑

discovered sweet + inspiring corners of the island 🫧

and hit it off immediately with the sweetheart behind the designs and space 🎨👩🏼‍🎨

now it’s time to trust the timing of my life while i figure out what’s next. until then, i’ll probably be journaling under clear skies + starry nights like this one 🤍🤍 taken in Martha's Vineyard by @gina.etc

while we were setting up in the beauuuutiful @formanartsinitiative space (thank you @p.ariena!!!!), @bydorianadiaz said to us, “sometimes i just can’t believe this is my life… it’s like i’m living in a dream.” days have passed + that hasn’t left my mind… i think it might be “the point,” actually… for all of us to create the dreamiest spaces we can imagine for ourselves + let the joy bubble over in these uNpReCeDeNtEd times. idk, just something to ponder 🫧 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @gina.etc

hiii ◡̈ i feel like i’m posting more than ever lately, but this time i have some news. it’s a privilege to share i’ve joined the Board of Directors at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, or as it’s lovingly known, @chawindc. it is our mission to build community through the arts, while fostering connection and transformation. we [also] believe that the arts create common ground and must be accessible (!!!). in any moment i would be overjoyed to support this organization, but in this moment, it is a particular honor to nurture creative + critical thinking in people of all ages. excited for what’s to come! 🫶🏽 by @gina.etc
