Today is my birthday- to celebrate I finished making this sculpture I’ve been working on for a couple weeks. It’s the first start to finish thing I’ve made in my new studio. I feel really grateful to have a space to work again and maybe I’ll even have more stuff to show for it soon. Anyway, it’s not the best thing I’ve ever made but it’s a good start to something I hope.
Oh and it’s about being middle aged duh

Day 20 is delayed cause I am overextended with @partnersandson web order fulfillment (a very good problem but one that puts personal projects on the back burner). Here’s a peak at the answer though, as if you didn’t know already.
Hopefully day 20 will be posted with day 21! by @ginadawsonart

Day 15 of 40: What is Five Finger Discount?

The first time I heard this phrase I was a freshman in high school in a locker room with some older girls changing for gym. One of the girls was wearing a lacy red bra and the other one complimented it. The girl in the bra, her name was Misty, said “thanks, got it with my five finger discount”
Too embarrassed to ask what that meant and in an age before google, I had to figure it out on my own by asking an older cousin later that day.
Ironically in present day, when I googled the term this showed up in an image search. I was never cool enough to steal a red lace bra, but I hope Misty is doing well out there! by @ginadawsonart
