LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER/ STAGE DIRECTOR

Gino has dedicated over 40 years for to the entertainment industry, choreographing for theater, stage, TV and film. This year marks the 20th anniversary with the Miss Universe Canada organization and his fourth season with Miss World Nicaragua as a choreographer and judge.

As a performer, Gino has graced the stage in some of Canada‘s most iconic musicals including CATS, Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Miss Saigon, Aida, Charlottetown fest, COC’s The Merry Widow. Some of his choreography credits include,
Bend it like Beckham, Les Mis, 9 to 5 the musical, Hairspray, CATS, Beauty and the Beast, and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Gino has also collaborated with notable artists such as Elton John, Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, and Jared Leto.

Gino is excited to continue his journey with the Miss Universe Canada family and warmly congratulates Sonny Borrelli on his new role as National Director. He also extends heartfelt gratitude to Denis Davila for his mentorship, wisdom, and friendship. Wishing him all the best in his new chapter by @gino.berti.to
