With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I am so incredibly proud to say that I am your Miss Universe Canada 2026. 🤍🇨🇦

One week later, and somehow I am even more grateful than I was the night my name was called.

For years, this was a dream I pursued through sacrifice, rejection, uncertainty, growth, and countless moments when it would have been easier to choose another path. To finally be here has reminded me: never give up on the dreams that refuse to leave your heart.

As a Turkish-Canadian woman, this moment reaches far beyond a title. I have been deeply moved by the love of the Turkish community in Canada, Türkiye, and around the world, and I carry my heritage with immense pride.

The immigrant story is deeply personal, but it is also one so many of us share. The countries and circumstances may differ, but the feelings are familiar: sacrifice, uncertainty, hope, and the question of whether everything you are fighting for will one day become the life you imagined.

Canada gave my family the freedom to begin again and the opportunity to dream beyond the circumstances we arrived with. To now represent this country on the Universe stage feels like one of the greatest expressions of the Canadian dream.

If my journey leaves you with anything, let it be this:

Where you start does not dictate where you will go.

You may be doubted. You may fall. Your dream may feel impossibly far away. Keep going anyway. Move with purpose. Stay kind. Remain grateful. You have no idea where perseverance, faith, and intention may lead you.

And no dream this meaningful is achieved alone. I am built on a community, an army of angels, and this moment belongs to them, too.

This crown is not the end of a dream. It is the beginning of a responsibility, a purpose, and a promise to make this opportunity mean something far beyond myself.

Canada, I am ready. 🤍🇨🇦

RECAP! What a week. 🤍

Miss Universe Canada gave me so much more than I ever could have expected. From the moments on stage to everything that happened behind the scenes, this week was filled with experiences and memories I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

But one of the most special parts was the women I had the privilege of sharing it with. I met so many beautiful, intelligent, ambitious and genuinely kind women from across Canada. We walked into this experience as delegates, but somewhere along the way, so many of us became friends. The conversations, the laughter, the encouragement, the late nights and all the little moments in between are what made this week unforgettable.

I’m leaving this experience with a heart so full of gratitude for every person who supported me, every lesson I learned, every opportunity I was given, and every woman who made this journey what it was.

Some experiences change the way you see yourself and the direction you want to take your life. This was one of them.

Forever grateful for this chapter. Thank you, @missuniversecanada, for a week I will never forget

Trading the stage for backstage to support the contestants at @missuniversecanada this year 👑✨🇨🇦 — some places feel like home. It was so good to reconnect with old friends and the people who make the heart and soul of Canadian pageantry. This year was so inspiring, watching so many mothers prove that motherhood and dreams can coexist. 🤍❤️ So proud of Queen @missjaimeyvonne on an incredible reign! One year ago, I stepped onto the Miss Universe Canada stage, and looking back, I can honestly say it was one of the most challenging, rewarding, and transformative experiences of my life.

First and foremost, all glory goes to God. Every step of this journey reminded me that His plans are always greater than my own, and I am so grateful for the strength, peace, and opportunities He placed in my path.

To the Miss Universe Canada organization, thank you for creating a platform that empowers women to grow beyond the competition itself. Thank you to every coach, mentor, sponsor, volunteer, photographer, makeup artist, designer, friend, and family member who believed in me and supported me throughout this journey. I truly couldn’t have done it alone.

One of the greatest gifts this experience gave me was the incredible women I met along the way. Some of them have become lifelong friends, and I’m forever grateful our paths crossed.

This journey taught me confidence, resilience, discipline, grace under pressure, and the importance of believing in yourself even when things feel uncertain. It challenged me to become a stronger version of myself, and because of it, doors have opened that I never imagined were possible.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Universe Canada, and to every woman who stepped onto that stage this year. It takes courage to pursue a dream, and each of you should be incredibly proud.

If you’ve ever thought about competing in a pageant but have been afraid to take the leap, let this be your sign. It may be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but it can also become one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

Thank you, Miss Universe Canada, for being part of my story. This chapter will always hold a special place in my heart. 💖✨
