I think I’m always looking for balance when I style softness with strength, masculine with feminine, clean with a little bit of drama. Maybe that’s the Libra ⚖️ in me lol.

ngl the clothes are only half the story. How they’re worn, how they sit on the body, the proportions, the accessories all of it matters to me. like everything 🔎
I want the whole look to feel Gio&Rio before you even know it’s Gio&Rio.

Anyway… who’s next? I need someone to style 😉✨

We are beyond grateful to be featured in the October Issue of @modernluxuria and to be recognized with the 2026 Fashion Designer of the Year 🏆 a recognition that means so much to us, especially as it celebrates the people contributing to our fashion and creative community.

Gio&Rio is growing, changing, and becoming more refined, and I feel like we’re only getting started. But we’re still holding onto the same reason we started creating in the first place...to tell stories, create something meaningful, and make our own space in the fashion industry. #LetsGoEdmonton

A big shoutout to the @modernluxuria @elsa_amorim team for continuing to recognize and celebrate local creatives and people who inspire, create, and excel in their respective industries. It makes it even more special to be recognized alongside them.

And a special thank you to my writer, Caroline, for telling my story so beautifully. You really did it justice. 🤍
