Great Lakes Alliance is excited to be part of the next chapter in youth soccer advancement.

Collaboration has always been at the core of our league model, and it’s a big reason for our continued success. We’re proud to carry that forward as we align with US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer to bring the new National 1 League to our member clubs.

This new platform represents the nation’s top team-based league—creating stronger competition, clearer pathways, and a more connected landscape for players and clubs.

Let’s go. ⚽ by @gla_soccer

PLANTED HERE. BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL.

The OVPL is entering a new chapter in 2027: same valley, a longer view.

We're building more than a season. We're building a pathway for adult soccer that keeps the game close to home, makes the process more transparent, and gives clubs something meaningful to grow into.

A clear pathway from local soccer to the OVPL, NPSL-RL, and the US Open Cup.

📋 Fees established before the season and shared openly.
🤝 Leadership that stays accessible and accountable to its member clubs.
📍 Regional competition built around our communities.

Somewhere in your town, a club is waiting to begin. Bring a team, start a conversation, or help build what's next.

2027 membership is open for men's and women's U23+ divisions.

📍 Indiana · Kentucky · Ohio · Pennsylvania · West Virginia

Built locally. Connected nationally.

NPSL-RL clubs play for their own towns, against regional rivals, in front of people who know them. And every one of them carries national NPSL affiliation and a real line to the U.S. Open Cup.

Eight founding regions. A fall-to-spring Championship Division and summer seasons that fit around school. A women’s flagship season with the same stakes as the men’s.

Two NPSL-RL clubs are already in Open Cup qualifying this fall. Your region could be next. Late kickoffs run through the weekend of January 9/10.
