Celebrating a special anniversary today with @glass.creature - 3 years since his top surgery! 🏳️‍⚧️ He has beautiful results courtesy of @drsidhbhgallagher , but truthfully, the research and planning for this surgery took literal years and involved tons of headaches around insurance, bmi, and documents “proving” things about his gender. None of this was an issue with Dr. Gallagher (which is why we went all the way to Miami!) but I bring it up as a reminder of the difficulties trans folks have with receiving gender affirming care - and this was 3 years ago 🫠 So grateful for this literal weight off his chest and working every day for a future where all trans folks can receive the care they deserve! 🩷 PS swipe for more shirtless, nipless pics by @glass.creature

Kitty cat pumpkin 🎃 🐈‍⬛ finishing up another one of these babies as I write this! This design keeps evolving every year… I love it except for that one super skinny piece on the right! What crazy person designed that?? (It was us) by @glass.creature

🐓🌽 featuring this relatively unhinged piece from our “Ick or Eat” collection 😂 I love that this piece is really giving that spooky/sexy, scary/funny mix that a lot of classic horror represents. So this one’s for all you monster lovers out there 💚 loving the color palette and overall glass choices we made for this one! 🍿🎬 by @glass.creature

One of my faves from our “Ick or Eat” Halloween collection! 🤢💅🏼💀! @glass.creature and I have been obsessed with these pie slices all year, so of course we had to draw up this body part one! Featuring some of our coolest glass (like that pink??), including a @glow1.glass eyeball - swipe to the end to see how that baby GLOWS! 👁️ Absolutely love all the details in this piece and wouldn’t be too mad if we kept it…. but it is available and coming with us to @yallmartsc this weekend! by @glass.creature

Off with your *leg* 😂 this piece is ready for our drop on Saturday! 🦵Featuring some of the best glass - some purple dichro and @bullseyeglass neo lavender for the shoe 👠 and ankle monitor 🚓, a little @fremont_antique_glass for the garter 💜, and a little @glow1.glass pom ⚪️! The fishnets are done with a skinnnny copper foil overlay. Lots of cool techniques and glass in this piece! 🥰 by @glass.creature

This cauldron piece is all finished up and ready for our Halloween drop! Probably the most traditional/tame of the assortment 😂but using a ton of gorgeous glass, including some purple @youghioghenyglass for the cauldron and a bunch of cool orange tones for the flames! 💜 and of course lots of hand painted detail in the bubbles! Will be available this coming Saturday, 10/10! by @glass.creature

Just a little peek into two of the pieces from our Halloween collection we’ll be dropping on 10/10 (at 10am est)! 🎃 Body parts are a big theme lol so trying to think of a clever little name 😂 these pieces still need a few grinding touch ups before they’re ready to be painted, foiled, and soldered - but I thought I’d give y’all a little taste 😩 happy October y’all! #paigeboy #stainedglassart #stainedglass #halloweenglass #halloweenart by @glass.creature

Had such a fun time at Shrektoberfest this weekend! 💚 But for the first time we have two Shrek themed pieces remaining after the fest! 😮 Would love to see these go home to some Shrek lovers (and hoping I’m reaching you cus y’all went nuts on the last post!). Had a ton of fun working on these - the TV features a cutout from a thrifted book and the VHS uses @fremont_antique_glass uranium and orange glass. Both available and can be shipped anywhere in the US - just 💌 me! by @glass.creature

We are getting ready for a double header of shows this weekend starting with Shrektoberfest at @dssolvr_durham !! As y’all may have seen me say, we don’t typically do a TON of fan art - but we do make exshrektions sometimes when it’s this iconic! 💚 this is such a fun event and I’m so excited it looks like good weather. These are some of the glass pieces we’ve brought for the past two years - with new work coming on Saturday! Hope to see y’all there! 🧅 by @glass.creature
