✨gay angels singing✨ < just went into my drafts to see what I left there and this was the caption on this guy.. perfect! This little guy represents the colors of the progress flag! One of my first pieces of stained glass ever was a “gay teardrop” as I affectionately call it - we love rainbows and repping the queer community!

Hi there!! I wanted to do a little “about us” post since we’ve gained a few new followers recently (thank you!)! I’m Paige (she/her) typically the one behind the posts here where I post about artwork made by myself and my amazing spouse Mac, or Carp as I mostly call him (@glass.creature , he/him). We are two creative folks who met in art school and have now been together over a decade, which is crazy to think about now. We absolutely love working together and combining our skills, especially with stained glass! We both also love to paint, make collages, thrift all kinds of weird stuff, and of course, go to haunted houses (iykyk). 💖 Our favorite kind of pieces to create are things that make you laugh or do a double take, and of course pride inspired designs. We live and work out of our home studio here in Durham, NC with our grumpy tortoiseshell cat Pam, aka Scout (who also has a rarely updated Instagram, @eyyotortie )! 😅 Thank y’all so much for following along here and enjoying our work - we appreciate it so much!!

Adorable little glass bi flag pendant! It is a known fact that all bisexual people are super cute and fun, and also have great taste, which is why the bi colors are so pretty. I love representing the bi community as a card carrying member 💖💜💙

More fun with etching on glass for this little NC flag! The first time we made this piece we soldered the rings on upside down and made it the Texas flag… whoops. Thank you NC for having a nice looking flag 💙

Posted this guy to my story yesterday but we just got some new glass for more so now he’s on the main feed! These moon chains are so cute and are amazingly something that every single time we’ve brought one to a show, it’s sold immediately! Finally got some pics this time though! Happy to do these in custom colors if you’re interested 🌝

Sooo happy to send this guy home yesterday! We loved making this piece - Carp chose the perfect glass for the butter and I love how crisp the etching I designed for it turned out! Such a cutie. Get you some extra salty butter today 🧈

Thank y’all SO much for all the love on the pumpkin guy! Carp and I love doing work that’s more adult and funny and when I see how many other folks find it hilarious as well, it’s such a reminder to just keep doing our thang! So here’s a suction cup toy we also made recently to keep the vibes going. You should also know I photographed this very publicly at the Duke gardens, which was also fun! 😅🍆

We came up with sooo many good names for this guy, most of which I probably shouldn’t repeat here 😅🎃 This guy was getting a lot of attention at @the_fruitflea and hopefully will do the same at @thrift_a_bull_market this weekend! He’s available if you need a little pumpkin spice in your life 😘

It was 10000% worth my sunburn from last time to hang with @thrift_a_bull_market and we are pumped to be coming back this weekend! @kotukusurfclub is such a cute space with live music and food alongside all the vendors. Time to start holiday shopping! 👀

✌🏻🤡✌🏻Photos I get when @glass.creature snaps the pics! Just a little scene from @the_fruitflea yesterday! Carp and I absolutely love doing these markets; meeting new folks, spending the day together, and seeing a few pieces go to new homes! Thank you for everyone who purchased some art! If you are looking for a special holiday present - we’d love to work with you 💚

Soo excited to be back at @the_fruitflea on Sunday! And we won’t be mistaking the mistake of going dancing there the night before this time! 🫠 Seriously though, such a cool venue with tons of amazing vendors, and we are thrilled to be a part of it again. Come see us Sunday!
