Solidarity in action makes a difference.

When seafood workers in New Bedford took a stand against illegal wage theft, extortion, and retaliation, their community showed up with them in court—and the judge ruled in their favor, rejecting the company's attempt to force the case into secretive arbitration.

While this is a major victory for Diaz Perez et. al. v. Marder et. al., the fight for full justice, unpaid overtime, and damages continues. MIC is proud to stand alongside Centro Comunitario de Trabajadores @cct_newbedford (CCT), @justice_at_work, Grassroots Law and Organizing for Workers (GLOW) @glo4workers, Workers' Law Office, @masscosh, and the @hyamsfoundation in supporting these workers.
