When you become lazy it's disrespectful to those who believe in you.

Todo cambia de color, no es nada como te lo pintan
quisiera ser feliz en una realidad distinta
Lejos de la que estoy, apartado de todo el mal
que quiera hacerme daño y no estarás en mi lado del cristal.

I am very fortunate to have these Maestros Mezcaleros at @thepastrywar Miguel Ángel Partida from @chacolo_destilado Mezcal and Vicente Sanchez Parada from @reycampero Mezcal. The conversations we had (asides from many) helped me further understand Mezcal a lot more and how privilege we are having these spirits on our back bars. Thanks to @heavy_metl for allowing me to take care of you guys too! 🙏🏽 #mezcal #maestromezcaleros #reycampero #chacolo #jalisco #oaxaca #agave #bars #houston #downtownhouston #pubs #beer #whisky #gin #champagne #rum #tequila #raicilla #sotol #bacanora #vinodemezcal #aquavit #scotch #irishwhiskey taken in The Pastry War by @gm__hernandez

Poblano Problems: Mezcal, Sherry, Poblano, Herbs and Tomatillos. This beautiful and tasty cocktail was developed by @chadgaritas
I first met @chadgaritas at The Nightingale Room when I was just 19 yup that’s right. I have learn so much from him in so little time that I have worked with him. He’s now over at @bltomorrow doing some fun stuff for brunch so if you have spare time go visit him. 💯

My favorite Mezcal? I love the Cupreatas especially by @emilio_vieyra @mezcaldonmateo Wild Cupreata.
Emilio Vieyra was the first mezcalero in the state of Michoacan to be certified under the Denomination of Origin for mezcal.
Don Mateo Silvestre is made with 100% wild agave Cupreata. The agave used in this mezcal are harvested from the mountainsides of El Limon. Once harvested, the agave Cupreata are roasted in a pit oven, fermented using naturally occurring yeasts in Oak Wood tanks, and double distilled in a Filipino style still. After distillation, the mezcal is aged in glass for one year before being bottled. 😍 - Want to know more? Swing by @thepastrywar for copitas de Mezcal for happy hour! I’ll be here all day! 🙃

The House Michelada at @thepastrywar is made in house with a blend of spices, tomato and citrus.
Pro tip: Ask for a Pacifico Michelada 🤤 •
