We are hiring a bartender to join our team. (Tag a friend or share this post!) If you want to expand your knowledge of agave spirits, enjoy a mix of laidback and intense volume, and are looking to learn more about cocktail bartending, this may be the bar for you.

Here’s why you should apply: Income is very competitive (all owners and managers have bartended for years, so we understand why this is important). We have years of experience operating this bar, and we feel justifiably confident about the future and staff income. We offer full health, dental and vision benefits for all staff. Our schedule is extremely consistent – most bartenders get three full days off weekly. It is uncommon for bartenders to work long overtime hours weekly when fully staffed. We care about the health and well-being of our staff and never prioritize sales over your safety. Our staff members are exceptional professionals, but they’re also wonderful people who treat each other with respect at all times – especially our Head Bartender, @gm__hernandez (pictured), who has worked here for years! We also hope to restart educational trips for staff members to Mexico over the next year. There’s more, but Insta character limits and all…

Here’s why you may not want to apply: Our bar is operating with a limited schedule currently, but we plan to expand that schedule as downtown continues to blossom after the past year (the weekends have been extremely busy already!). So, operating hours (still full-time) may be limited to Wednesday-Saturdays, but could expand to up to 7 days a week, like we operated with previously. We don’t expect operating hours to impact income at all, but we do think it will be a small lifestyle adjustment for staff. Bartenders are expected to study and digest the very deep, complicated, and dynamic world of agave spirits. While it all averages out, rainy days downtown can cause some shifts to be slower than normal, and nearby events can cause intense volume and longer shifts, which can be exhausting at times (just being honest). Ideal candidates can pivot from one style to another.
