Still taking it all in. 🖤

@deadlydozenafrica was more than just a race. It was a reminder of why we put in the work day after day - the early mornings, the hard sessions, the days when you don't feel like training, and all the sacrifices that nobody sees.

Then you get an opportunity like this… to stand on a start line, race alongside the person you love, and finally showcase all those hours of training. That’s what I love most about fitness and endurance racing. The work you put in during training eventually gives you a moment where you get to see what you're capable of.

Coming 2nd in Mixed Doubles at Deadly Dozen is something I'll always be proud of, but the experience itself means even more. The people, the energy, the community, the competition and the memories made along the way - that's what makes this sport so special.

A massive thank you to Deadly Dozen for creating an incredible event and giving us the opportunity to experience something we'll never forget. And thank you to the entire fitness and endurance community for continuing to push, inspire and motivate each other. 🫶🏼

And to my fiancée, my teammate and my best friend , thank you for doing life with me. For training with me, racing with me, pushing me, supporting me and sharing every high and low along the way. There is no one I'd rather stand on a start line with. 🖤

So grateful for this journey, for the people we've met, for the memories we're creating and for the life we're building together.

And of course, thank you @gml.labs for being part of the journey and supporting us on race day, and capturing every moment 🙏💪🫡

The training is the journey.

The race is the opportunity to showcase it.
