Polyfluoroalkyl Substances PFAS Toolkit
�
�PFAS, often called “forever chemicals,” are found in many everyday products and can contaminate water, food, air, dust, and consumer goods. As more patients and communities ask questions about PFAS exposure, testing, health risks, and ways to reduce harm, health professionals need clear, evidence-based information to guide those conversations.

The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments has released an updated PFAS Toolkit to support nurses and other health professionals in clinical practice, patient education, and community health conversations. The toolkit includes information on potential exposure sources, health implications, PFAS testing and results, and practical steps individuals and communities can take to reduce exposure.
