SOME PEOPLE ARE DAMPERS

In nature, branches can act as dampers—absorbing movement, reducing force, and helping a system withstand pressure.

People can do the same.

When tension rises, some people amplify it.
Others absorb the shock.

They bring calm into conflict.
Wisdom into confusion.
Perspective into pressure.
Stability into environments that are shaking.

A damper doesn't necessarily remove the storm. It reduces the storm's ability to destroy what matters.

Never underestimate the value of the person who can enter a turbulent room and lower the temperature without losing their strength.

Be the person who doesn't add to the shaking.
Be the person who brings stability.

We continue to learn the lessons from the wilderness. Either we die in Egypt of Egypt dies within us. That is something we have to decide.
