To see first hand, the transformation and devastation of parts of our beautiful island Jamaica, after the passing of hurrican Melissa, was heart wrenching. I had to remind myself that there is help and hope! Our efforts to help those in need will be amplified by God because "The Lord is close to the broken hearted and the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). So while we provide tangibles let's also pray for divine intervention, provision and restoration of the lives affected.

MOMENT OF TRUTH WITH GORDON SWABY aka @gmsjam !!!

So, here we have @gmsjam FINALLY participating in the @skolastik_oasis DARN CHOPSTICKS CHALLENGE. Gentle people, had to create an ambush to get him involved. How did he do? Please rate him out of 10 !!!!

WHO WILL BE NEXT??

The chopsticks really are a metaphor for my time living and studying in Japan as a Jamaican Woman - very difficult in the beginning but after some time mastery comes and you learn to ADAPT.

In this life, you will be faced with CHANGES and you best believe that you have to adapt or be blown away.

TO LEARN MORE ABOUT MY TIME LIVING IN JAPAN, order your copies of my book, by clicking the link in the @skolastik_oasis BIO.

BOOK TITLE: How Do You Use Those DARN CHOPSTICKS?! A Memoir of a Jamaican Woman who Lived and Studied in Japan.
