The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open for the 2025-2026 school year!

We sometimes find that students don’t fill out the application because they think they’re not eligible, won’t get any financial aid, think it’s too complicated, or that it only impacts their federal aid.

So we’re here to bust some of those myths. Full info and all applicable links in our stories. by @go2psu

Recently, a couple of alumni, Thikshan Arulampalam and Patrick McNamara, represented PSU at a college fair in Sri Lanka called "Connect USA – Your Bridge to Success".

The event was presented by the American Alumni Association of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the United States - Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission, and was a great success!

If you are an alum living internationally, contact us at intladm@pdx.edu to help promote PSU in your home country! by @go2psu

Sat 9/28 | 6-8pm | Smith Ballroom

Kick off the school year at the annual Viking Days Drag Show! Portland has a vibrant drag scene, and we’re excited to feature some of our talented local drag artists.

Hosted by the Queer Resource Center, PSU Admissions, and University Housing and Residence Life.

Doors open at 5:30pm, and capacity is limited. Please bring your PSU ID card.

Drag show etiquette: Clap, cheer, and have fun! Be respectful of the drag artists - no touching without consent. Tipping with dollar bills is a fun way to support and interact with performers, but it is not required! (They know you’re students!)

*In order to care for one another, we encourage a culture of mask-wearing and ask that you please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.*

Smith Ballroom is mobility accessible. by @go2psu
