Woke up on Sunday to see that I got a lil feature/mention in NPR, WHAAAAT?!??😱🤩☀️

Huge thank you to Colin Campbell for interviewing me for this story at @BernieSanders’s Fighting Oligarchy rally here in Durham, excellent work on this article and I really appreciate you sharing my genuine excitement in voting for @NidaAllam with everyone on the interwebsss. 😌👏🏽

I feel so honored to be in a story for a national publication, especially for a race as crucial as this. In times as insane and as authoritarian as this, we must combat the issues systemically and with integrity to lift up everyday people, not the rich that are destroying our country. I hate settling for the lesser of two evils in elections because WE DESERVE BETTER!!!

We deserve better than corporate-backed establishment puppets, that applies in NC and in rest of the country. Nida understood this well, and that will always mean a lot to me. ☺️💗

Existing is exhausting rn. I feel hopeless a LOT these days, ngl. But whether we win or lose, let’s do what we can to make this country a little bit better. Power belongs to the PEOPLE! Solidarity forevaaaaa!! ✊🏽☀️❤️

Let’s be the change we want to see in the world. 🗳️☀️ Polls are open until 7:30 PM. (Sorry for the loud background audio on this video, didn’t have enough time to set up my mic when I filmed this at @berniesanders’ rally lol) 😅

I’M GOIN’ ON TOUR, Y’ALL!!! 🤩 To all my friends/mutuals/fellow content creators, if you’ll be in any of these cities during these months, DM me asap so we can meet up and collaborate! 💌 It took about 7 years of saving up money for this moment and I can’t wait to enjoy EVERY second of exploring international lands for very first time, learning more about so many beautiful cultures, discovering new things, and having a ton of fun while creating great content for short-form (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and long-form (I’m returning to YouTube this year and releasing a ton of vlogs there!!). More to come very soon, ok gtg byeeeee😁✌🏽❤️🇯🇵🇵🇭🇰🇷🇺🇸

I’m looking back at this article by Maddie Singleton that I was featured/interviewed in for the @dailytarheel from the summer before the 2022 midterms (btw, thank you for that opportunity and platform, DTH team! 🫶🏽). As I said then, when we organize together, a better future is possible. A future where we can #StopGunViolence. I’ll keep fighting for that future, regardless of what the results of this election turn out to be, and I hope you’ll join me in that mission. For those who want to read the full article, it’s l!nked in my b!0. #Election2024 taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @gobarber2

In this election, and in all future ones, we will continue to vote because EVERY VOTE MATTERS. 🗳️ If you’re still at the polls waiting to vote, STAY IN LINE!

Thank you to all the incredible nonprofit members/organizers for speaking with me at the @carolinadazenc festival this year. 🫶🏽🩷

So happy to have interviewed @heytonytv at @carolinadazenc music festival back in September (I’m mad late on posting this, I knowww lol sry😅). Tony’s a huge inspiration to me as a content creator, make sure to follow him! Thanks to him and the festival organizers @commoncausenc for inviting me! 🚨TO MY NC FOLKS: you have a few hours left to go vote today if you’re already registered! And for those outside of NC: check and see if your state offers same-day registration so you can vote if you haven’t already✌🏽🗳️☀️

This election is about protecting our fundamental rights, and that includes the right to stay alive. Both nationally and locally, we must vote to help #StopGunViolence. 💙 @marchforourlives @mfol.unc @davidmileshogg @sda_unc @uncyoungdemocrats
