Flashback Friday to some early 90’s NLL floppin’ ball-stopping at the Buffalo Aud.

I believe dropping on low shots can be big time beneficial. Dropping too soon can be detrimental. Recognizing the proper scenario is key.
Screen shots and other game time situations that can be difficult for a goalie to navigate are discussed and worked-on at the USBOXLA Goalie Academy.

The USBOXLA Western Box Lacrosse Championship Goalie Academy is NOW OPEN.

#throwbackthursday to some 2008 Portland LumberJax early season action. Getting my stick on NY Titan former WINGS teammate @jeffreyratcliffe
After the Mueller/O’Neill era ended in Philly (end of 2004) Adam went on to Coach the NY Titans and actually built their championship Finalist team with a number of former Philadelphia Wings, The Rat 🐀 being one of them.

🗣️Match the shooter’s speed.

Here’s a good example of staying with the ball carrier, and not over-committing before the ball is released.

Still get the itch in OCTOBER (not jock itch)
October is training camp time 🔪🩸

Way back in 2006 this ITECH sponsored mask arrived late, so I couldn’t sand blast and powder coat the cage. Ended up wearing the shiny black instead. Figured I’d swap it out at season’s end but the screws rusted and the only way of removing it meant messing up the paint by cutting it off. Retired it after season two, and donned Leatherface for my final year of play.
