🌊 A new journey begins.
I’m incredibly excited and honoured to share that I’ve been selected as a fellow for the East African Ocean & Climate Resilient Fellowship! 🌍💙

Being selected from a pool of 325 applicants across East Africa is both an honour and a reminder of the responsibility we have as young people to be part of building a more resilient future for our communities, our oceans, and our planet.

This is more than an opportunity to learn. It’s an opportunity to connect, collaborate, grow, and turn knowledge into meaningful impact.

I’m looking forward to learning alongside inspiring young leaders from across East Africa, sharing ideas, and contributing to conversations and solutions around ocean conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable coastal communities.
Grateful for this opportunity. Ready for the journey. 🌊🌱

🌱 BLUE BARRIER INITIATIVE | KUNDUCHI COASTAL RESTORATION,
Yesterday I Joined Tanzania Youth Biodiversity Network (TYBN), under Tanzania Biodiversity Organization (TBO), in collaboration with BOHRA Initiative under Project RISE, successfully conducted Phase 3 of the Kunduchi Coastal Restoration Initiative, planting 1,000 mangrove seedlings with the participation of youth, women and local community members. 🌿🌊

Mangrove restoration is vital for nature, people and the economy. Mangroves protect coastlines from erosion and flooding, provide habitats and breeding grounds for marine species, support fisheries and livelihoods, and strengthen the resilience of coastal communities to climate change.

This action contributes to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF), particularly Target 2 on ecosystem restoration, Target 3 on conservation, Target 22 on inclusive participation of local communities, and Target 23 on gender-responsive biodiversity action.

SHUKRANI KWA WACHANGIAJI WOTE WA PROUD FOUNDATION🙏.

Kwa niaba ya Proud Foundation, tunapenda kutoa shukrani za dhati kwa kila mmoja wenu aliyechangia kwa moyo wa upendo katika jitihada zetu za kuwasaidia watoto wa mitaani.

Tukio letu la Kujitolea lililofanyika tarehe 18/07/2025, eneo la Magufuli, Kijazi - Ubungo, Dar es Salaam, limekuwa na mafanikio makubwa kutokana na ushirikiano wenu.

Mchango wenu wa mavazi na vitu vingine umeleta faraja kubwa kwa watoto hawa, na umeonesha jinsi ubinadamu unavyoweza kubadilisha maisha ya wengine hata kwa hatua ndogo.

Hatuwezi kufanya haya bila ninyi. Asanteni kwa kuwa sehemu ya safari hii ya kuwapa matumaini watoto wetu.
