POSTS STORIES REELS
My Author Origin Story! โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ How I got to sing with the Dapper Dans is a story for another dayโ€ฆ My books are online at Amazon and B&N or directly from me with doodled inscriptions at: GoingToGuides.com xoxo, Shannon ๐Ÿ“—๐Ÿ“˜๐Ÿ“• #goingtodisneyland #goingtodca #goingtodisneyworld by @goingtoguides
NEW Walt Disney World book means a new pinned post to recap whatโ€™s up here at GTG HQ! ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: Who are you? A: Iโ€™m Shannon Laskey and Iโ€™m the proud creator of Going To Guides which celebrated TEN YEARS in 2025! ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: What is Going To Guides? A: GTG all started when I wrote, illustrated and designed a unique, interactive, fun and image-packed book about Disneyland in 2015, published by Orchard Hill Press. Now there are THREE titles, an Etsy shop AND a new Mail Club called the GTG Gazette! ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: Where can I find the books? A: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart and directly from me at GoingToGuides.com. Target.com ๐ŸŽฏ only has the DCA book. ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: So, whatโ€™s in the Etsy shop? A: One of my most popular items are my bandanas called Fandanas. Youโ€™ll also find printable downloads, stickers, buttons, patches, pins, journals called Imaginotebooks and book sleeves! One of my favorite things to create are Christmas ornaments and I release new designs each season. ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: Do you live near a Disney park? A: Not really! My husband and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our sons (A.K.A. = The Two Best People To Go To Disneyland With) are young adults now (somehow! ๐Ÿ˜ญ) and also live in California. ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: Will there be books about parks outside of the US? A: I sure hope so! Iโ€™d LOVE to do one on Tokyo Disneyland Resort next... #manifesting, manifesting... ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Q: Whatโ€™s your fave ride? Fave land? A: It changes but today Iโ€™ll say Pirates of the Caribbean (Disneylandโ€™s version). Fave land doesnโ€™t change = New Orleans Square! ๐Ÿ“— ๐Ÿ“˜ ๐Ÿ“• Did I miss YOUR question? Ask away! Thanks for stopping by my page today! xoxo, Shannon โœจ โœจ โœจ ๐Ÿ“ท One of my traditions is to take a photo by the poster that best matches my outfit when I enter Disneyland so I had to do it at Magic Kingdom too! #GoingToDisney #Disneyhacks #disneytrip by @goingtoguides
There was a third screen for the color on the lily blossom but that one is lost to time. My plan is to hang these with lighting strips behind them so theyโ€™re illuminated from behind. Not sure how anyone will ever be able to top this gift from @studio22minis! ๐ŸŽฅ The deer wallpaper in this Reel can be see in Plaza Point on Main Street in Disneyland. And that building will be the theme of my next Christmas ornament for 2025! #gtgornamentcollection <EDIT: Thanks to @ryan_alexander_mcfadden for the correction - the Lily pattern comes in 3 colorways and while Jasper is one of them, the one in the Mansion is the Ashes of Rose color.> I re-recorded this voiceover 9 billion times - I hope it makes sense. ๐Ÿ˜‚ โœจ๐Ÿฐโœจ If you love Disneyland details, visit GoingToGuides.com for info on the books I create, my blog, oodles of free printables and the link to find me on Etsy. #hauntedmansion #bradburyandbradbury #victorianwallpaper by @goingtoguides
