Attention!!!

Today (Friday 9/18) we are taking our staff on an outing to the Mount Angel Oktoberfest and will be opening the tap room at 4pm instead of our usual 3pm opening. Our friend, tap room regular, and owner of the Bitter Monk, Becky, will be guest bartending for us for the day, so y’all better be on your best behavior!

We've really enjoyed showing the World Cup matches on our new TV, so we are going to continue the trend and show the grand finale, Argentina versus Spain, this Sunday. We'll be open starting at 11am to prepare for the noon start time. Ricky's Tacos and Brassi's will also be open early!!! When the Brewer’s Star is hung, the beer is ready to drink! Or so is the traditional way of the Zoigl brewery. While we are not a Zoigl Brewery we do like continuing traditions started by our fellow lager brewing friends. This one began as a collaboration brew between Tom Beckmann of Goldfinger and Dusan Kwiatkowski of Live Oak. The concept: brew an unfiltered, American adjunct lager, hang the brewers star in your tap room or pub when the beer is ready to drink, and when the beer is gone, ship it to another brewery friend.

Our American Zoigl lager was inspired by the amber lagers from Yuengling and Henry Weinhards (RIP) and was brewed with Cascade and Willamette hops as well as ~20% corn. It's on tap now on the tap room and this one is draft only, so get it while you can! by @golddotbeer

The level of quality and patience is apparent in all their special beers. The focus is slow fermenting with a German and Czech influence with top quality ingredients and lots of time.
