After a day of hiking nine miles of gorgeous Oregon Fall steps in a fruitless search for pheasants, I was lucky enough to roll into @heaterallenbeer/ @golddotbeer to find the King of Pilsners, and Lagers @fluffi_bottoms behind the bar while the Queen, @lisa_loves_lagers, is on a well earned hiatus. I was even lucky enough to belly up next to Mr Rick Allen for a pint. Not a bad day for a lucky fella.

Attention!!!

Today (Friday 9/18) we are taking our staff on an outing to the Mount Angel Oktoberfest and will be opening the tap room at 4pm instead of our usual 3pm opening. Our friend, tap room regular, and owner of the Bitter Monk, Becky, will be guest bartending for us for the day, so y’all better be on your best behavior!

Thanks for understanding and a huge thank you to Becky for helping us out!

An absolute masterclass in what a Helles lager should be. @golddotbeer Luxurious Helles Lager perfectly balances sweet pale malt with floral noble hops. Cheers!🍻
