Despite the Bears loss, pretty epic sports day yesterday for me to cap off @umphreysmcgee’s UMBowl weekend. @andyfarag_percussion & I hit the Packers/Bears game with friends for my first trip to Lambeau in Green Bay. And then we made the Dodgers/Brewers game in Milwaukee for the night cap. Thanks to my buddies Jimmy & Andrew for making it happen! taken in Green Bay, Wisconsin by @nugsnet

🎥 Behind the Stream: Umphrey’s McGee – Brooklyn Bowl Nashville 🎬🎹🔥

Night two of Umphrey’s McGee’s Nashville run at Brooklyn Bowl brought a special surprise on October 3rd! The band welcomed JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic to the stage on keys and debuted Panic’s “Ain’t Life Grand”. 🤘

These are the moments that make live broadcasting so much fun. You’re in the director’s seat, watching it all unfold in real time, anticipating the next move, and trying to capture every bit of the magic as it happens.

Umphrey’s is my band, my people. I’ve worked with these guys longer and more consistently than any other band, and getting to be part of weekends like this in our hometown of Nashville never gets old. ❤️

Ain’t Life Grand.

I started photographing Umphrey’s McGee over 25 years ago, and I’d already been shooting Widespread Panic before that. So it was pretty special tonight at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville to see JoJo Hermann join Umphrey’s for “Ain’t Life Grand.”

The jam scene is alive and well. Go out and see live music.

Here’s the @umphreysmcgee office for the next two nights. It’s our first visit to Nashville’s @brooklynbowl, let’s make it count. Oh and it sounds like we’ll have a friend or two joining us throughout the weekend.

UM hits at 8 both nights.
