🎤Vocal Lessons
✨Artist Development
James & Katie bring everything into one place when it comes to elevating an artist.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Meet Katie.

Anyone who knows her knows she’s dancing to whatever song is being recorded. Not only does she have the ability to create a safe and secure space for the singer, but she brings the unapologetic fun and confidence out of them as well.

Having spent 5 years in LA as an artist herself then diving head first into development, katie helps the singer come to life in the emotion of their song as well as working on their stage performance.

“If your audience doesn’t believe you, no one will”

Katie brings the believability alive with technique,
Style and emotion.

They call him the Wizard.

James’ main focus is to capture the feeling of each song for his artists. It doesn’t matter if it’s country, pop, soul, rock or indie, James will bring to life the emotion and vision of the track with the artists, while also using his years of songwriting experience to help the artist write the songs or fine tune the lyrics.

Whatever sound your trying to accomplish, James and his team can help you get it done @goldlionstudios

‼️Singers‼️

Try this trick if you’re straining for High Power Notes in your songs.

When singers go for those powerful higher notes, there is a tendency to lift your chin and reach rather than keeping the jaw relaxed and allowing the resonance to come forward and find freedom. This is a great Go To for keeping that accountable.

‼️How to Learn To Sing‼️

Step 1: Be confident in YOU, and let your voice mess up. It will work out after you continue to work on it.

Step 2: Slow Songs down to work on pitch, and dynamic.

Step 3: lip rolls on songs, and to help find range.

Step 4: start working with a coach 1 on 1 to help you discover what you have.

During my 20 lesson work weeks on music row, in between sessions I would pick songs to challenge my own voice during the coaching of others.

This was Jojos Say Love. Literally such a great song and insanely challenging ability wise!

Vocal coaches never stop learning, it’s actually vital that we always train, lean into our weaknesses and grow and learn.
