The great @livsaccojpg was here yesterday to finally capture some shots of the studio. She’s clearly got the eye. taken in East York by @goldstandardrecorders

Our wonderful Trident 80B console is looking for a new home! Manufactured 1985. 32 ch, 24 bus, 24 mon return. Came to us from a studio in Asheville, NC. That classic Trident sound, thick in the right way, with highly musical EQs. Integrated patch bay. All relevant EDAC snakes are included. It has served us incredibly well and we will miss it - but to everything there is a season. Prefer a sale local to Ontario but can arrange shipping etc if you wish. Please DM if you’re in the market for a beauty such as this. by @goldstandardrecorders

Happy three year anniversary to our debut EP 🌲
We wrote this record on a small island in the Salish Sea on the traditional land and waters of the Snuneymuxw and Coast Salish people. Thematically, it is full of songs of self discovery, deep reflection, wonder, with a focus on healing, reconciliation, community and self empowerment. We are so honoured that this collection of songs have resonated so deeply with so many of you. Thank you so much for your support.

A special thanks to John and Sara Gogo, Danny and Susan Duquette, Denis and Sarah Duquette, Carli and Jon Colclough, Jeri Gogo and George Petrovic. Joël Culligan whose painting inspired the song “Where Do Buffalo Roam”, Damon and Chloe.

Huge thanks to Aaron Goldstein for producing, mixing, and lending his multi instrumental talents to play so beautifully all over this record @agoldrules
Anna Ruddick for playing bass like a boss, and Dani Nash for killing it on the drums. @goldstandardrecorders @annaruddick @daninashmusic

Thank you to our darling friend Kiki Lavoie @kirstenwhom for stepping in to make our DIY album artwork photoshoot come together and lending her wonderful artistic eye.

Photo 3 shows the rough idea @jenagogo sketched out before we did our cover shoot - it’s pretty funny how accurate those stick figures turned out.

To @denisduquette for his lovely edit of the cover photo in slide 8.

To Mat Dunlap for his gorgeous album artwork and being a lovely pal to work with.

We feel so lucky to have been able to share this record with you, and we love it so much we included it as the B side on the vinyl of our most recent release - ‘Romance & Ramblin’ (2025)

Keep creating friends! ✨ Thank you for your support and thank you for listening xo D&G by @goldstandardrecorders
