“This July 4th, I stand as a proud American—grateful for the Liberty that once guided the world. Yesterday, a striking new mural in Roubaix, France, revealed the Statue of Liberty covering her face in shame—a powerful reminder that our promise is under strain .
We’re living in hard times: families torn apart, voices silenced, hope tested. But we refuse to let Lady Liberty weep in silence. Today, we don’t turn away—we come together.
Let that mural be our call to action: to heal divisions, renew compassion, and honor our founding ideals. We will not be ashamed of Liberty—because we are Liberty.
🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day. Always forward.”
